A Fantasy + Romance + Slice-of-Life game entry for the Winter Visual Novel Jam 2023 by the combined collaborative studio, Chthonic Chrome Studio, made up of PDRRook and Dom (The Cottage Workshop).

Expelled from the modern world into a novel, you occupy the body of a minor villainess, on her way to marry the beastly Duke of the North.
(Why does that sound familiar...)
Your mission? To have him fall for you. Should be easy, right?
Or maybe this is all a dream?
You decide.
- Female MC who interacts with the world in two (choosable) ways,
- Story-rich visual novel (VN) with both plot-affecting choices + flavor choices,
- Landscape backgrounds with variations + CGs,
- Over 20k words and around an hour of play time (demo),
- Your guide - a sassy bird who talks shit!
- One (1) Male Romance Option:
Duke of the North - Cold and stoic, your new 'betrothed' is said to be an untamable beast rather than a man. Despite those rumors, there's something undeniably soft about him...
Roy Venn Varley (right) - Duke's advisor for everything ranging from the dukedom to the royal family. The words he says are kind on the surface, but don't you know that he's toxic?
Kal Umnia (left) - A holy paladin of The All-Encompassing, and Duke's personal knight. For such a devout man, he sure has a mouth on him.
Zofia (right) - One of the maids. Loyal to a fault, serious and knowledgeable.
Cassandra (left) - Your personal maid, sent to the manor all the way from the Capital City. She's elegant and well-mannered, with an excitable side to her.
Kid - The game's mascot. Just kidding, he's your pet guide. Foul-mouthed and rude, he's not exactly the most favorable company to have, but at least you're not alone.

As for the CGs, there are only five in the Demo build, so you got all of them! 🎉The rest are just empty squares, but we'll try to see if we can make that more clearer!
(But there will be more CGs in the full game, yes 😉)
I love the new update! I like that we're able to change our appearances and choose a dress. By any chance will there be an option for long hair as well?
Not in this game as we already have all the art assets and CGs drawn 🙂
omgg i dont typically leave comments but i absolutely adored the demo!! had me giggling and twirling my hair for sure. the mix of modern lingo in the fantasy setting really was fun. plus the very cute and easily flustered duke was definitely a bonus. the cliffhanger had me screaming tho.... :')

Man, this demo is so amazing!! the characters are great and entertaining the art is bomb and the duke is so baby girl. what more can I say?? And I love Kid and the Mc's dynamic they give me that Homer choking Bart meme vibe yk? Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the full release!

this game is sooo pretty! the art, the plot, very unique and also funny! just wish there were more interactive scenes and also more drawn parts because most scenes were just a frozen background

I literally screamed no with that cliffhangerrr!!!! Love the difference between our conversations with Kid and Duke, it balances out the story with comedy, romance and some seriousness!

This may be only me (a Windows user) but when I go to 'extract all' once I open the file it says there's nothing there. I'm not really good with explaining things so hopefully someone understands what I mean, but does anyone know how to resolve the issue or is it just a problem on my end? the mc is literally just like me😭 the art is really beautiful and i loved all of the facial expressions. whenever we threw the shoe at kid i felt soooo bad lol, then when he wasnt there i was like huh? where'd he go? anyways this is seriously soooo good and im so excited for the full game!

the plot?? the game?? the characters?? the writing?? THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! I absolutely love the dynamic between duke and the MC!!!! (duke is so cute also i did not expect for his name to be actually duke SHCKJAKAH) I always love those isekai into a novel type plot so i really love this game!! so looking foward for the full/update!!!
